Statiunea Calimanesti-Caciulata se afla la poalele Carpatilor Merdionali pe malul raului Olt, la 18 km nord de Rm. Valcea si la 80 km sud de Sibiu, in judetul Valcea; soseaua E81/DN7, asigura in unitatile aflate in patrimoniul sau, servicii de cazare, masa si tratament balnear la un inalt standard de calitate. Climatul este continental de dealuri si coline, lipsit de contraste termice, caracteristic depresiunilor subcarpatice adapostite. Temperatura medie anuala este de +9,8°C, in timpul verii de +19°C. Microclimatul statiunii ofera conditiile dezvoltarii unei foarte bogate flore si faune. Din suprafata totala a statiunii, aproape jumatate este impadurita : 13% rasinoase si 87% foioase.
